FOUNDATION RECOGNIZES ATTORNEYS FOR EXCELLENCE IN PUBLIC SERVICE Outstanding Attorneys Receive High Honors
[PHOENIX, AZ] –The Arizona Bar Foundation will recognize the outstanding public service of five Arizona attorneys and law firms and the top 50 pro bono attorneys at the State Bar of Arizona’s annual convention.
“These are times when the “norms” of yesterday seem far behind us, when each today seems to run over into the next, and no certainty as to what tomorrow will bring. We are being told that the best way of reaching out is to keep our distance. We all need a balance right now, a reminder that there is more to life that what we are experiencing today. That reminder for the Arizona Bar Foundation came with reading the nomination letters for our 2020 Awardees. Their years of dedication and contributions they have made in the quest for equal justice for all Arizonans is the shining ray of hope we need to see beyond the moments of these trying times. They are an inspiration for us all,” shared Dr. Kevin Ruegg, Executive Director of the Arizona Bar Foundation.
Award winners were selected based on nominations from their peers and colleagues and will be honored during the Foundation’s annual awards luncheon at the State Bar’s convention in Tucson on December 2nd, 2020. Those recognized include:
