First Half of 2019 Impact Report

The American Lawyers Alliance will honor Judge McNamee on August 9th in San Francisco for his work and support with civic education in Arizona.  

Judge McNamee has been a facilitator, volunteer judge, and cheerleader par excellence for the Mock Trial program for over 15 years.  He was instrumental in moving the State Championships to the Sandra Day O'Connor Federal Courthouse in 2002, and each year he volunteers his time and advice, along with his courtroom, to judge those teams invited to participate.  This has provided a memorable experience for literally thousands of students, teachers, and parents over the past 15 years.  He is also instrumental in meeting with court personnel to make sure they understand their role in supporting the program as a way to model the importance of civic engagement.  We congratulate Judge McNamee and thank him for all his support!
